Training Information

For each event there are 4 training schedules available. There is a Run/Walk program for those who are new to running or have not worked out in a while, a Novice Run program, an Intermediate Run program and an Advanced Run program. Choose which plan is right for you!

The Half Marathon course is open and fully supported for 3 hours and 30 minutes, a 16 minute per mile pace.

The 10K course is open and fully supported for 3 hours, a 29 minute per mile pace.

The UMKC School of Medicine 5K course is open and fully supported for 90 minutes, a 30 minute per mile pace.

The Hospital Hill Run encourages athletes of all skill levels to participate. Before you start any training program, please check with a physician to make sure you are healthy enough to train for and participate in an endurance event.
