Awards
Every participant who finishes the Half Marathon, 10K and UMKC School of Medicine 5K will receive a commemorative medal and finisher flip flops. No medals or flip flops will be mailed.
Please note that athletes can only win one individual award. If an athlete qualifies for more than one award, the athlete will be awarded the most prestigious award. (For example if a 43-year-old man is the 2nd overall finisher AND the top masters winner AND the top age group winner in the 40-44 age group in the Half Marathon, he would receive the 2nd overall prize, but not the other two.)
PRIZE MONEY
Awarded for the top male and female finishers in the Half Marathon:
- 1st - $2,500.00
- 2nd - $1,000.00
- 3rd - $750.00
- 4th - $500.00
- 5th - $250.00
Awarded for the top male and female Running Clubs in the Half Marathon
- 1st - $2,500
- 2nd - $1,000
- 3rd - $750
Awarded for the top male and female Masters finishers (40+) in the Half Marathon:
- 1st - $500.00
- 2nd - $250.00
- 3rd - $100.00
AGE GROUP AWARDS
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers for the Half Marathon, 10K and UMKC School of Medicine 5K in the following age categories:
- 19+ under
- 20 - 24
- 25 - 29
- 30 - 34
- 35 - 39
- 40 - 44
- 45 - 49
- 50 - 54
- 55 - 59
- 60 - 64
- 65 - 69
- 70+
All age group awards will be mailed one week after the event once results have been finalized. Please make sure your race application is completely filled out to ensure the accuracy of race results.
