Meet the Race Director . . .

Beth Salinger became the Race Director for Hospital Hill Run in January 2007. She brought with her years of coordinating and participating in running events across the United States.

Beth has been a member of the Running USA Board of Directors since 2011 and is currently the President of the Board. She has been asked to speak at RunMexico the past two years, both the East Coast and West Coast Race Directors College for the past 3 years. This past year she won the Race Director of the year award.

Personally, Beth completed her first triathlon, the Memphis in May Triathlon, with Team in Training in 2001. She has since gone on to complete 32 additional triathlons and many 5K and 10K races. In 2005 she trained for and completed her first half marathon, the Indy Mini and since then has gone onto complete an additional 17 half marathons.

Beth believes it is important to continue training and participating in running events, it gives her a unique perspective as both a race director and race participant, to bring the best to every event she is a part of.
