FAQ

1. Where does the race start?  End?
All three distances begin on Grand Avenue just north of Pershing and finish on Grand Avenue right in front of Crown Center.

2. Where does the course go?
The Half Marathon course will go around the Sprint Center and around the Plaza, showcasing downtown Kansas City.

3. Is this race hilly?
YES!  Hospital Hill Run is known as a challenging course.  Check out the Event section of the website for course maps and elevation maps (coming soon).

4. Do I have to register online?
No.  You can register online, by mail or during packet pickup.  There will be no race day registration.

5.  Where \ When is packet pickup?
Packet Pickup will be held on Thursday June 5th and Friday June 6th times to be determined.  Additonally, there will be packet pickup race morning.  All participants will be able to pick up their bib numbers, ChampionChip timing device, event t-shirt, and goody bags.  Packet Pickup will be held at the Crown Center Atrium.  We HIGHLY recommend picking up your packet on Thursday or Friday.

6. Where do I park on race day?
Free covered parking is available in the Crown Center parking garages.  No validation stamp is needed on Saturday. 

7. After I register can I switch race distances?
YES!  Please email beth@hospitalhillrun.com to make any registration changes.

8. My name is spelled wrong, age is wrong, etc.
No problem!  Just email beth@hospitalhillrun.com we will make the necessary changes to the database.

9. Can I use my own ChampionChip?
YES!  Please input your ChampionChip number when you register and you will be all set.  If you forgot to input the information, please email beth@hospitalhillrun.com and we will put your information into the database.

10. I registered and now I won’t be able to participate; can I still pick up my t-shirt?
YES!  Please stop by and pick up your bib, t-shirt and goody bag.  Please make sure to return the ChampionChip to the information desk before you leave the Expo.

11. I won’t be able to participate; can I transfer my registration to next year?
No, we are sorry but there are no transfers of registration to another person or until next year.

12. I have a friend who would like to volunteer, can he help?
YES!  Please email volunteers@hospitalhillrun.com for more information.
