Trinity Hill is back for 2009!

All three events will have the same start line! All courses will begin right in front of Crown Center on Grand Boulevard.

Half Marathon:

Start Time: 7:00am
All Wheelchair events start time: 6:50am

UMKC School of Medicine 5K:

Start Time: 7:30am - NEW START TIME!
All Wheelchair events start time: 6:50am

The UMKC School of Medicine 5K has the same start line as 2008 allowing for athletes to cheer on the Half Marathoners and 10K participants before starting themselves. The turn will be located on 29th Street before joining in with the other two events for a great finish!

PLEASE NOTE: The UMKC School of Medicine now begins at the same starting line as the Hospital Hill Run Half Marathon and 10K.  All three events begin on Grand Boulevard right in front of Crown Center.

Packet Pickup :

Packet Pickup will take place at the Crown Center Shops on:

• Thursday, June 4th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm
• Friday, June 5th from 11:00am to 8:00pm (new later time)
• RACE DAY - Saturday, June 6th from 5:00am to 6:30am

Please note: No packets or t-shirts will be mailed.

Timing:

Hospital Hill Run is thrilled to be using the new ChronoTrack Disposable Timing System (D-Tag™). The D-Tag™ is an all-weather option that is better suited for pace of today's events. ChronoTrack Systems™ D-Tag™ is a disposable tag that participants peel off the bib and place on their shoe to record their time. By creating the D-Tag™, the need for chips are eliminated thus, eliminating chip assignment, lost chips, secure zone for chip collection and in-accurate results due to multiple chip files. The ChronoTrack System™ has been used to time the San Francisco Marathon, New York Nike Human Race, Rock N Roll Half Marathon Virginia Beach, Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon, GO! St. Louis Marathon, and the Free Press Detroit Marathon among others.

Awards:

Every participant who finishes the Half Marathon, 10K and UMKC School of Medicine 5K will receive a commemorative medal and surprise gift. No medals will be mailed.

Please note that athletes can only win one award.  They will be awarded the most prestigious of the two awards.  (For example if a 43 year old man is the 2nd overall finisher and the top masters winner and the top age group winner in the 40 – 44 age group in the Half Marathon, he would receive the 2nd overall prize, but not the other two.)

PRIZE MONEY
Awarded for the top male and female finishers in the Half Marathon:

• 1st - $2,500.00
• 2nd - $1,000.00
• 3rd - $750.00
• 4th - $500.00
• 5th - $250.00

Awarded for the top male and female Masters finishers (40+) in the Half Marathon:

• 1st - $500.00
• 2nd - $250.00
• 3rd - $100.00

AGE GROUP AWARDS
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers for the Half Marathon, 10K and UMKC School of Medicine 5K in the following age categories:

• 19+ under
• 20 - 24
• 25 - 29
• 30 - 34
• 35 - 39
• 40 - 44
• 45 - 49
• 50 - 54
• 55 - 59
• 60 - 64
• 65 - 69
• 70+

All age group awards will be mailed one week after the event once results have been finalized. Please make sure your race application is completely filled out to ensure the accuracy of race results.
